LA NOTTE DEI BRIGANTI
The association has been organizing for 13 years a theatrical performance en plein air on the brigandage titled “La Notte dei Briganti”. It is a travelling path in the woods, which tells the story of the south of Italy during the post-unitary period. The territory of Murgia dei trulli has been highly affected by this phenomenon; the most famous bandits of Puglia have been born and established. There are more than 120 actors and performers who interpret characters really existed during the Italian Risorgimento. Over time the La Notte dei Briganti has become an appointment for many visitors. To know the details of the visit our website www.lanottedeibriganti.com.
THE HISTORY AT THE THEATRE
The study of local history led to the desire to tell each other. This is how the comedies were created, conceived, written and personally directed by the Association, and interpreted by amateur actors. The analysis of people really existed and of events of the territory led to the writing of theatrical texts as La panchina (2013), Centolire (2016), La Pensione delle Beffe (2019). For more information, see the sylva association’s Facebook page.
LETTOVISTOASCOLTATO
LettoVistoAscoltato, now in its tenth edition, is a review unlocked from the context of the local history but perfectly in line with the desire to spread culture and its accessibility. Generally the three appointments of the review start from a common thread, a topic to the three novels/films that will be analyzed. This is an entirely live show in which a reader reads the parts of the novel corresponding to the scenes without audio shown on the screen; all spaced out by the soundtrack of the film. This format allows you to understand the three different forms of art to analyze and appreciate them more, that is, literature, cinema and music. To learn more see our Facebook page.
